Our daily mood is influenced heavily by what is visible up in the sky. Usually, people will not react the same way to a blizzard than to a sunny day.
This body of work, not only asks the question what if Earth was no longer humanity’s home; but also, what different might astronomical objects look like in our sky? Taking cues from color theory and psychology, my composite photographs provide viewers with vistas captured from new planets that humans could have had lived on. Our blue sky is replaced with peach air, and the single moon is swapped with three. What if the silhouettes of humans included in my work and the portraits of animals that live on these new planets are a glimpse of what could be or could have been ? What if…?
